One look at the iW4-ARC and you know something serious is going on. The iW4-ARC is our powerhouse architectural product. In a good installation, if you closed your eyes, you might think you were listening to a pair of Classic 3's on stands. Outrageous dynamics, terrific bass, high output, and yet there is no loss of detail. The iW4-ARC is the perfect in-wall home theater system speaker.

Anti-Resonant Casting (ARC) Virtually Eliminates Vibration Distortion
The iW4-ARC uses two 5.25" aluminum woofers, a 2" aluminum dome midrange, and a .75" aluminum dome tweeter. This Tweeter-Midrange module is used in all 3-way Classic series designs. The advantage of a dual-woofer 3-way design is low distortion and wide dispersion, it changes the "sweet spot" to a "sweet room" for listening. The iW4-ARC body features a new material that eliminates spurious resonances from interfering with proper sound reproduction. These components are enclosed into the remarkable new Anti-Resonant Casting or ARC "monocoque" chassis to provide unprecedented strength and a lifetime of durability while acoustically reducing frame vibrations--"distortions"--to inaudible levels.
Attractive, Bezel-less Design
Just before NHT installs the speaker components, a smooth rubberized paint finish process is applied to the chassis that works together with ARC to help damp surface vibrations that can blur the sound. The iW4-ARC is also an integrated, serviceable design and features a bezel-less grill/frame design (no exposed frame lip or wide trim ring around the grill) and the beautiful micro-perforated grill attaches and centers itself magnetically.
Pair with iW4B Pre-Construction Brackets (sold separately)
The iW4B-ARC mounting bracket is intended to be used to frame out and reserve the in-ceiling or in-wall speaker location prior to sheetrock application. The iW4B-ARC eliminates the need to cut holes for new speaker installations and makes speaker locations predictable rather than cutting holes blind. For new construction or remodeling when ceiling and joists and wall studs are exposed. The iW4B-ARC also makes for easy post sheetrock speaker installation in walls or in-ceiling. The iW4B-ARC fits the NHT iW4-ARC in-wall speaker only. One kit contains 1 bracket for 1 iW4-ARC speaker. Using the iW4B-ARC, the IW4-ARC is easily installed and can be mounted vertically or horizontally in the wall.
